BetaShares Global Robotics and Artificial Intelligence ETF (ASX Code: RBTZ)
BetaShares has listed an exchange traded fund that offers investors access to the robotics and artificial intelligence (AI) sectors, called the BetaShares Global Robotics and Artificial Intelligence ETF (ASX Code: RBTZ).
The ETF tracks the Indxx Global Robotics and Artificial Intelligence Thematic Index, and invests in a portfolio of global companies involved in the production or use of robotics and AI products and services - including industrial robots, autonomous vehicles and applications of large-scale machine learning.
“As we’re already seeing, robotics and AI products are beginning to disrupt multiple industries.” BetaShares chief executive officer, Alex Vynokur, says.
“Ageing populations, rising labour costs, and an opportunity for performance improvements are all significant economic incentives promoting further development of the area, explaining significant growth in the adoption of robotics and artificial intelligence solutions across a number of industries.”
The ETF has a management fee of 0.57% and additional transactional and operational costs estimated, in the product disclosure statement, to be approximately 0.21% for the current financial year.
