BetaShares Global Sustainability Leaders ETF - Currency Hedged and BetaShares NASDAQ 100 ETF - Currency Hedged

BetaShares has launched currency-hedged versions of two of its global equities ETFs - the BetaShares Global Sustainability Leaders ETF - Currency Hedged (ASX: HETH) and BetaShares NASDAQ 100 ETF - Currency Hedged (ASX: HNDQ).

BetaShares chief executive officer Alex Vynokur, said they launched the two hedged versions in response to significant client demand "as many investors are seeking to minimise the impact of currency fluctuations on portfolio returns."

The unhedged version of the global sustainability ETF is currently the largest ethical ETF on the ASX, according to BetaShares, with more than $650 million in funds under management.

"The new currency-hedged funds give investors an important choice - to remain exposed to exchange rate movements as another source of potential returns, or to substantially remove the currency variable from the investment equation," Vynokur said.
