Zurich, OnePath make operational appointments

Zurich Life & Investments has made several appointments to better support both the Zurich and OnePath life insurance brands.

Peter Tilocca, who served in the chief underwriting officer role previously with ANZ and, after the acquisition, with the OnePath brand, will continue in that role, focusing on the retail porftolio.

The goal is to ensure the retail and group offerings remain distinctly different.

Zurich and OnePath chief operations officer Gavin Pearce said, "These appointments are a next step in our journey of integrating our Zurich and OnePath operational teams, so they may share best practice and work more effectively within their combined functions. The structure has been designed to support excellent customer and adviser service outcomes both now and into the future."

Tilocca joined ANZ in 2013 as group underwriting and operations manager. He became chief underwriter in 2017. He previously held senior business development and underwriting roles at the Reinsurance Group of America and ING.
