Yellow Brick Road national advice lead joins Interprac

Former Yellow Brick Road national advice manager, Sharon Walker, has joined Interprac following their acquisition of the YBR advice business.

Interprac managing director Garry Crole told Financial Standard that Walker's reputation became clear during the due diligence of the acquisition. "The comment 'If you are going to do this, you have to take Sharon' was endless," Crole said.

"Sharon has 30 years' experience, and 17 of this was actually as a planner with National Australia Bank, so we feel her experience is spread between compliance, business support and practical know how in the field as an adviser."

Walker spent just over two years with Yellow Brick Road. She also has experience with MoneyWise Global and spent more than 17 years with NAB as a senior financial planner.
