Xplore Wealth appoints Head of Distribution and Marketing

Xplore Wealth has announced the appointment of Anne Hamieh as head of distribution and marketing.

Hamieh joins from Vanguard Investments where she led the intermediary sales team responsible for the distribution of Vanguard's managed funds and ETFs in NSW, QLD and NT. Before that, she was head of distribution financial services at Centuria Capital.

Hamieh's appointment at Xplore Wealth, effective 26 August 2019, follows the recent appointments of Bruce Hawkins as chief financial officer and Mike Wright as chief executive officer.

In welcoming her to the team, Xplore Wealth chair Peter Brook said: "Anne's appointment not only bolsters a revitalised Xplore Wealth executive team but fulfils a critical gap for Xplore Wealth in its sales and relationship efforts and promoting the Company's underlying capabilities."

Hamieh succeeds Tony Nejasmic, who commenced a new role as head of wealth management sales at Lonsec in June 2019.
