Wingate has promoted its head of Asia desk, Adrian Ting, to the role of head of private markets.
It's the second promotion for Ting in as many years, having joined the firm in mid-2018 from NAB where he spent several years as associate director of investor sales. He also has experience at Thomson Reuters, Perpetual Limited, and Credit Suisse.
Commenting on the appointment, Wingate managing director Dani Peer said, "Adrian Ting's role has been expanded from leading the Asia Desk to now encompassing the entire Private Markets' team of seven Directors." Peer went on to say that Ting "has consistently impressed with his work ethic, his strong business development and co-investor engagement efforts; and his ability to win the trust and affection of his colleagues."
Founded in 2004, Wingate now has more than 170 employees in Sydney and Melbourne, and manages more than $5 billion AUD.
