Willis Towers Watson appoints Head of Strategic Advisory, Investments

Willis Towers Watson has announced the promotion of Jessica Melville to the role of head of strategic advisory, investments, effective immediately.

Commenting on her experience, Willis Towers Watson Australia's director of investments Martin Goss said: "Jessica is multi-talented having worked in a number of manager research teams, advised a range of clients and is now demonstrating her skills in the areas of governance, culture and organisational design."

Melville, who joined Wilis Towers Watson as an analyst in December 2008 and most recently served as a senior investment consultant with the firm, said of her promotion: "It is a privilege to be part of this team working with asset owners at a time where they are confronted with regulatory scrutiny against a backdrop of a challenging market environment."

She added: "There has never been a greater demand for governance expertise in the investment industry, and I am pleased to be a part of such a strong growth area for the business."

Melville replaces Sue Brake, who moved to the Future Fund as deputy chief investment officer, portfolio strategy in June 2019.
