Vision Super appoints Head of Human Resources

Industry fund, Vision Super, has announced the appointment of Emma Brennan as its new head of human resources, effective January 2018.

Brennan joins the $9.2 billion fund from Telstra where she was a senior HR business partner. Prior to this, she was the people and culture manager at VicSuper for nearly three years.

Commenting on her appointment, Vision Super CEO Stephen Rowe said: "Vision Super will benefit from Emma's broad human resources experience. In her most recent role at Telstra, Emma provided strategic business partnering to support the business strategy as the Telstra Enterprise team made several strategic acquisitions in the global products area."

"Her experience with change and transformation comes at an ideal time for Vision Super. Most industry funds have shrinking membership, but Vision Super is growing and we expect to grow even more strongly over the next few years."

Brennan added that she was attracted to Vision Super's values and said that the fund's "innovation was particularly appealing."

She replaces Fiona Fleming, who had been with the fund since January 2014.
