VFMC adds to board

The Victorian Funds Management Corporation (VFMC) has appointed Tom Considine to its board.

"This appointment broadens the public sector policy, financial and risk management expertise of the VFMC Board," said VFMC chair James MacKenzie. "In particular, Mr Considine brings extensive experience in infrastructure, policy and strategy development, and risk management."

Considine this year also joined Sayers as a partner in the new advisory and investments business founded by Australian and US private capital. He was previously the interim CEO of the Victorian Suburban Rail Loop Authority and held executive roles around civic infrastructure and corporate strategy with Development Victoria.

He has a history of working in political and public services roles as a policy adviser to the Victorian Government and as chief of staff to the Office of the Treasurer.
