VanEck adds support in WA

VanEck has appointed Danica Warren as a business development manager in the organisation's WA operations.

She comes from FIIG Securities where she worked on the fixed income team for nearly seven years. She also spent some time with engineering consultancy MizCo.

The goal of the hire, said VanEck Asia Pacific chief Arian Neiron, is to help strengthen the business' national presence. "These appointments and the opening of our Perth office will enhance our Australian operations as demand for our product grows. Our new hires will work to strengthen investors' understanding of smart beta and active strategies, which form a core part of VanEck's ASX ETF range and provide targeted investment solutions."

VanEck currently has 28 ETFs listed on the ASX and has seen FUM increase 80% in the last year.
