Sunsuper has appointed Mark Goodey as a director of their board.
The Brisbane-based Goodey is currently the division CFO of the Australian Workers Union in Queensland and a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales. He previously served as strategic finance and compliance officer for the Australian Services Union.
Goodey's appointment fills the vacancy from the conclusion of the term of former Sunsuper chair, Ben Swan.
Goodey is joined by Cate Wood as a new director for the fund.
Sunsuper chair, Andrew Fraser, welcomed both to the board. "Ms Wood and Mr Goodey bring skills and experience that will add to the capacity of our Board to lead and govern the fund in the interests of its 1.4 million members."
