Talaria Asset Management has appointed former AMP Capital portfolio specialist Mitch Hannigan as a director of sales.
Hannigan spent more than three years with AMP Capital, starting as a business development associate helping support the organisation's retail arm, driving sales and cash flow in the Australian intermediary market. Hannigan's first financial services role was as an investment consultant with Colonial First State following several years as a beach lifeguard with the NSW Pittwater Council.
"We're delighted to have someone of the quality of Mitch join the Talaria team based in Sydney," said CEO Jamie Mead. "Mitch brings significant experience within the funds management industry with a focus on advisor distribution networks. This appointment is another important milestone in our growth, and further recognition of the value we deliver for people and communities."
Hannigan's appointment comes on the back of several new and increased mandates with Talaria including Zenith and Lonsec.
