TAL exec appointed COO at MetLife

MetLife Australia has announced the appointment of David Campbell as chief operating officer and as a member of the firm's Australian leadership team, effective 17 September 2018.

Campbell will join MetLife from TAL Life, where he has held the role of general manager, customer operations and underwriting for the past three years. He previously spent 10 years at CBA and CommInsure, holding a variety of executive roles including overseeing the group insurance business.

Commenting on his appointment, MetLife Australia acting CEO, Vince Watt, said: "We're very pleased to welcome David to MetLife Australia. His experience managing large-scale transformation, as well as his leadership skills, will enable him to make a major contribution to our efforts to reimagine the future of claims and underwriting."
