Supervised Investments chief to step down

Michael Ohlsson has confirmed a recent news report that he is stepping down as chief executive officer of Supervised Investments, effective July 2019.

Ohlsson's resignation follows Supervised Investments' decision to discontinue managing assets in the global debt markets to focus on international equities.

Ohlsson joined the firm in January 2017 with 25 years' experience in the financial services and superannuation industries, notably as the former CEO of Fidelity Investments, Australia and New Zealand. He also spent nine years with Barclays Global Investors as director of institutional business and adviser services, and served as CEO of boutique firms, InvestCap and Tibra Investment Management.
