SuperRatings appoints GM Consulting

Research house, SuperRatings, has announced it has "deepened" its actuarial capabilities with the appointment of Rachael Povah as general manager of consulting.

In this newly-created role, according to the firm, Povah's focus will be on "utilising SuperRatings' depth of data to identify growth opportunities for super funds and their members."

Tovah has 20 years' experience in superannuation and employee benefits consulting, having previously worked in actuarial roles for Mercer and Aon.

She is joined at SuperRatings by fellow new-recruit, Minjie Shen, who has been appointed as consulting manager.

In welcoming them both, SuperRatings executive director, Kirby Rappell, said: "We are excited to have Rachael and Minjie join the SuperRatings team at a critical time for our business and the industry."

He added: "Their depth of experience, including in areas of product design, insurance pricing, and M&A due diligence will enable us to deliver a superior full service offering to the super industry."
