Statewide Super has announced that Kristyn Verrall has had the oversight of organisational strategy added to her previous responsibilities of general counsel and company secretary.
Tony D'Alessandro, Statewide Super's newly-appointed CEO said of Verrall's expanded role: "Kristyn was the obvious choice to oversee the strategy of the 147,000 member strong fund. Her 10 years' legal experience and 15 years' experience in the financial services industry places her with the exceptional problem-solving skills required to pave the way in a changing super climate."
The change is one of several announced changes to the fund's leadership team, including the promotion of former head of marketing, Nicole Kinnear, to the role of general manager, marketing & member engagement; and the promotion of former head of financial planning, Lisa Palmer, to the role of general manager, distribution and advice.
Statewide Super said the appointments follow D'Alessandro's decision "to refine the structure of the organisation to best service its members and in response to regulatory changes."
