Statewide Super appoints GM Marketing & Member Engagement
Statewide Super has announced a number of internal appointments to its leadership team including the promotion of former head of marketing, Nicole Kinnear, to the role of general manager, marketing & member engagement.
In this role, Kinnear will assume responsibility of the inbound and outbound contact centre and member service centre, in addition to Marketing and Public Affairs.
Tony D’Alessandro, Statewide Super’s newly-appointed CEO said of Kinnear's appointment: “During Nicole’s first year in 2016, we saw an increase of prompted brand awareness of more than 60 per cent. Nicole has subsequently played an integral role in positioning Statewide Super as one of the leading superannuation brands in the country.”
Other changes to the team include the promotion of former head of financial planning, Lisa Palmer, to the role of general manager, distribution and advice, and the expansion of Kristyn Verrall's role to include Organisational Strategy in addition to her responsibilities as general counsel and company secretary.
Statewide Super said the appointments follow D’Alessandro's decision "to refine the structure of the organisation to best service its members and in response to regulatory changes."
