StatePlus Head of Research departs

Head of research at StatePlus, Richard Dinham, has confirmed to Industry Moves that he has left the financial advice provider, effective 6 July 2017.

Dinham was with StatePlus for over seven years, initially as chief investment officer for almost two and a half years years and then as head of research for the last four and a half years. StatePlus was known as State Super Financial Services until 2015.

Prior to this, Dinham was a senior investment consultant at Russell Investments, head of institutional business at Investment Solutions, product manager and investment consultant at J.P. Morgan and an investment consultant at Mercer.

Commenting on his departure, Dinham said: "I have really enjoyed working with StatePlus over the last seven years. I believe I have been able to make a significant contribution to the investment program in that time, including a significant improvement in alignment of investment outcomes with member needs. I wish StatePlus well in the future as it continues to its next phase of growth."

When asked about his next move, Dinham said he is currently "considering opportunities" available to him.
