Keri Pratt has been named general manager of defined benefits, assets, and liabilities.

Pratt joined State Super in 2017 to help the fund meet its asset-liability management objectives. She previously spent several years as a member of Crescent Wealth's investment committee and was a director of the CIMA Society of Australia. As an executive, she was the head of institutional sales with Franklin Templeton and was head of client service for GMO Australia.

"I'm extremely pleased about Keri's appointment to this vital role in State Super's investment team," said State Super CEO John Livanas. "Her depth of experience in investment strategy and outstanding stakeholder relationships across the government and private sectors will help ensure State Super continues to meet its asset-liability objectives."

Pratt said that she's excited to expand on the work she's done with TCorp and the development of investment strategies for State Super's defined benefit assets. "I look forward to deepening my engagement with Crown employers, other employers, and our scheme actuary and I also welcome to opportunity to support and advise State Super's Board and work with my colleagues in the leadership team to deliver the best possible outcomes for our members."
