Spitfire CEO moves into distribution role

Spitfire Corporation has announced that Matthew Johnson will move into a new role following the appointment of John Shuttleworth as chief executive officer.

Johnson, who was appointed as the firm's inaugural CEO in June of this year, and led the business through its integration with WealthTrac and the launch of the IDPS-Like Platform, will move into the new role of general manager, distribution.

In this role, Spitfire said that Johnson will continue to lead the growth of the firm's wealth management products and will focus on expanding the adviser and dealer network.

Spitfire has also announced that Peter Wilson, director of advisory firm wilsonemmett, will join as a strategic adviser and member of the executive leadership team.
