SMSF Association appoints Vice Chair

The SMSF Association has announced the appointment of Andrew Hamilton as vice chair, following Robin Bowerman's appointment as chair.

Bowerman has, in turn, replaced Dr. Deborah Ralston who has resigned following her appointment to the three-member Retirement Income Review panel that was announced by Treasurer Josh Frydenberg last week.

Hamilton, who has more than 25 years' experience working within the self-managed superannuation fund (SMSF) industry, previously served as chair of the SMSF Association before stepping down in February 2014 after two years in the role. He has since served as a director of the board.
