SG Hiscock expands SGH20 team

SG Hiscock & Company (SGH) has appointed Michael Kordick as assistant portfolio manager for its SGH20 team.

Kordick has more than 10 years' investment experience and joins SGH from Equity Trustees where he was a portfolio manager and senior investment analyst. In this role, which he commenced in August 2013, he undertook fundamental equities research and provided portfolio management construction analysis and support. Prior to this, he worked for Frontier Investment Consulting and Diogenes Research, an independent institutional investment research firm.

In welcoming him to SGH, managing director, Stephen Hiscock, said: "Michael brings with him extensive equities experience and industry insight and his joining reflects our commitment and confidence in the continuing growth of the SGH20 strategy."

Hamish Tadgell, who assumed lead portfolio manager responsibilities for SGH20 in February last year added: "Michael is very well aligned with our high conviction fundamental investing culture, and we look forward to him making a significant contribution to the SGH20 Fund and client portfolios."

SGH20 is an actively managed, high-conviction Australian equity fund that invests in a concentrated portfolio of between 15 to 25 ASX listed companies.
