Sequoia Financial Group Ltd. (Sequioa) has announced that Scott Beeton has resigned as a director of the firm, effective 4 February 2019.
Beeton joined Sequoia in December 2009 as managing director and became chief executive in December 2014. In November 2018, it was announced that Beeton would transition out of the chief executive role over the next six months.
Commenting on his departure, executive chair, Garry Crole, said: "Scott was instrumental in the foundation of this business. Whilst Scott will leave the board and the business in his capacity as group CEO, the company will engage with Scott in the next stage of his career in the corporate finance arena."
