Schwartz named chair of EQT

RBA director Carol Schwartz has been named board chair of Equity Trustees.

Schwartz, who joined the board in March of this year, also holds directorships with Qualitas Property Partners and the Trawalla Group, of which she was also a founding member.

She replaces Jeffrey Kennett who, along with Alice Williams, have retired from the company's board.

Schwartz was previously the chair of Industry Superannuation Property Trust, was the national president of the Property Council of Australia, and a non-executive director with the Stockland Group.

Deputy chair Jim Minto said, "I add my deep thanks to Jeff and Alice for their distinguished and tireless service to this company, as well as to Carol for taking on the pivotal role of Chair of the Equity Trustees group.
