Schroders' QEP Investment Director departs

Schroders Australia's investment director for QEP global equities, Rupeng Chen, has departed after more than 10 years with the organisation.

A spokesperson for Schroders confirmed the move, saying they have promoted Avik Roy to take over the role.

Chen joined Schroders in late 2009 as a product executive for equities. She was promoted several times before being named investment director in early 2019.

The spokesperson says that Chen, "has made the decision to take the next step in her career and relocate to Hong Kong.

"Rupeng has played an important role in supporting our QEP clients in Australia and leaves with our thanks and best wishes for the future."
