Simon Stevenson, Schroders Australia's deputy head of multi-asset will retire at the end of the year.

Stevenson joined the organisation in mid-2008 as head of strategy.

"After over a decade with Schroders in the Australian Multi-Asset team, Simon Stevenson has announced he will be retiring at the end of 2020," said a spokesperson for the organisation. "We would like to thank Simon for his outstanding contribution and wish him all the best for his retirement."

Simon Doyle is continuing as head of the multi-asset team and lead portfolio manager. The organisation has made several new appointments to the multi-asset team, including Angus Sippe who will be based in New York.

"The diversity and depth within the team will enable us to continue to drive investment outcomes for our clients and support the continued growth of our multi-asset business in Australia."

Before joining Schroders, Stevenson was the head of research for Investa Property Group, a portfolio manager and economic strategist with Merrill Lynch Investment Managers, and held roles with Macquarie, Tactile Global Management, and Schrodersin the mid-90s.
