Schroders Australia promotes CEO

The CEO of Schroders Australia is taking on an additional role in the organisation, as co-head of Asia Pacific.

A statement from the company says that the appointment is part of the company's ambitions growth strategy across the region. Peter Harrison, Schroders Group CEO, said they recognise the importance of the region "which has seen rapid growth and offers continued opportunities for our clients. Our focus on the region is a key part of our ongoing strategy, so it is critical for us to ensure we have best-in-class leadership ensuring we can meet the needs of new and existing clients."

Durack is joined by Susan Soh, country head for Singapore, as co-head of Asia Pacific.

Durack was appointed CEO of Schroders Australia in 2018. He first joined the organisation in 2011 as head of distribution. He joined the organisation from NSW State Super Corporation where he was CEO.
