Fiona Reynolds
FIONA REYNOLDS
Conexus Financial - Chief Executive Officer
APPOINTMENT
CONEXUS FINANCIAL
Date: July 2021
Position: Chief Executive Officer

Fiona Reynolds has been appointed chief executive of Conexus Financial.

The former CEO of the London-based Principles for Responsible Investment will return to Australia in early 2022 after several years abroad.

Conexus founder and CEO Colin Tate will become executive chair. He said, "Under Fiona's expert leadership, we will bring a world's best practice view to guiding the industry through the next phase of its evolution."

Said Reynolds, "The Australian investment industry has a lot to be proud of, but there is more to be done before we can say we have global best practice. Progress is only possible when we step across industry divides, leaving our own interests behind. I am joining Conexus because I believe it can provide a meaningful platform for advancing people, profit and the planet.

"Part of the work Conexus does as an organisation is to hold the industry accountable for the promises it makes its customers, but my main focus, and one that I'm particularly excited to embark on, is helping the industry become globally-recognised trailblazer in sustainability, governance, retirement income policy and financial advice."

Before joining the PRI, Reynolds was the CEO of the Australian Institute of Superannuation Trustees (AIST). She's also held board positions with the UN Global Compact, International Integrated Reporting Council, and the UN Business for Peace Steering Committee.
