APPOINTMENT
Revolution Asset Management Pty Ltd
REVOLUTION ASSET MANAGEMENT PTY LTD
Date: March 2018
Position: Executive Director and Senior Portfolio Manager

Revolution Asset Management, a boutique investment firm in partnership with multi-affiliate house Channel Capital, has confirmed to Industry Moves the appointment of David Saija as a senior portfolio manager and executive director, effective March 2018.

Saija was most recently a portfolio manager at Kapstream, a role he held for just over two years, departing in February this year. Prior to this, he held a senior credit role with Challenger, where he was responsible for analysing leveraged loan and real estate debt opportunities as well as assigning credit ratings to individual transactions.

At Revolution Asset Management, he joins founder and CIO Bob Sahota and recent hire, Simon Petris, who also joins as a senior portfolio manager and executive director. All three have previously worked together at Challenger.

Commenting on his appointment, Sahota said: "I am delighted to welcome David to the Revolution Asset Management team, who along with Simon and I, is a co-founder of the business. With David's extensive complimentary skills and experience, Revolution benefits from having a strong and well-credentialed senior team in the Australian private debt market, which will allow us to deliver a unique product focused on institutional and high net worth clients."

Saija added: "It is great to be working with Bob once again. Australian private debt offers compelling relative value and provides a great opportunity for non-bank lenders to step in as the banks face increasing capital charges. It's terrific to be a co-founder of Revolution, and I believe we are well placed to take advantage of the market opportunities with a strong, experienced team and origination network."

The team is currently capital raising for its first fund, the Revolution Private Debt Fund I, a wholesale unregistered managed investment scheme.
