Raiz reorganises, promotes leadership

Raiz has announced a reorganisation of its leadership. Group COO Brendan Malone is also taking on the responsibilities of CEO for Raiz Invest Australia.

In a statement, Raiz Invest chair Tony Fay said that the management restructure will help the Australian business grow while ensuring the company can capitalise on emerging opportunities in southeast Asia.

"As part fo the changes, George Lucas will spend more time overseeing the Southeast Asian operations to ensure the execution of the Company's growth strategy in Indonesia and Malaysia while also researching opportunities in other countries in the region such as Thailand.

"The Australian business will be led by Brendan Malone who has been Group COO since March 2015. Brendan will manage the day-to-day running of the business and will continue to drive the strategy to grow revenue per customer through new products and services."

Raize reported a total FUM increase of more than 4% in their most recent results, up to $472.6 million.

Before joining Raiz, Malone was the managing director for Management International Group and spent more than a decade in a variety of international roles with RBS.
