QLD BDM joins Australian Unity Investment Bonds

Australian Unity has announced the appointment of Steve Blanche as business development manager for Queensland in the firm's investment bonds business.

Blanche joins from MLC (Nippon Life) where he held a variety of senior business development roles in Queensland. Before this, he was a practice development manager and authorised representative with Strategic Solutions Australia.

Commenting on his appointment, Greg Bird, head of strategy and distribution at Australian Unity Investment Bonds, said it is "important - amongst the challenges and opportunities facing the sector today - that Queensland advisers and dealer groups continued to receive on the ground service and support from an experienced and well-versed professional such as Mr Blanche."
