Leonie Wilkinson, head of global clients and marketing has left QIC.

In confirming the news to Industry Moves, a spokesperson for the organisation said that QIC has established two new business units, which appears to have separated some of the responsibilities of Wilkinson's old role. "Clients, Product and Capital will focus on non-government clients and Corporate Affairs, Government and Strategy (formerly Office of the CEO) will focus on Queensland government clients," said the spokesperson.

The spokesperson said that QIC wished Wilkson well and thanked her for her service to the firm.

A search is currently underway to fill a new role, leading clients, products and capital for QIC.

Wilkinson joined QIC as a director of the global real estate investment area. She became the head of global clients and marketing after about a year with the organisation.

Before joining QIC, she was a regional director for LaSalle Investment Management and held leadership roles at Macquarie, Stockland, and Barclays.
