New York-based private equity manager, Argo Infrastructure Partners (AIP), has appointed QIC's Melannie Pyzik as a Sydney-based managing director, effective 11 February 2019.
In this newly-created role, Pyzik will be responsible for leading Investor Solutions for AIP with a focus on the Asia-Pacific region. AIP said in a statement that it is particularly looking to expand its relationships with LPs in Australia, Korea and Japan.
Pyzik, who has over 18 years' experience in the infrastructure sector, previously spent almost five years as director of investment specialist global infrastructure at QIC, where she led the fundraising for QIC's first Global Infrastructure Fund (QGIF), with a particular focus on the Asia-Pacific region, AIP said.
