Institutional investment manager QIC has appointed Ravi Sriskandarajah as their new executive director of client solutions and capital.

Sriskandarajah joins from BMO Global Asset Management where he has spent the last five years as managing director and head of Asia Pacific. Before joining BMO, Sriskandarajah was the managing director and head of institutional business for BlackRock Australia.

"As we navigate through the current complex operating environment and beyond, Ravi's appointment will ensure we continue to put clients at the centre of our business and set us up for future success," said QIC CEO Damien Frawley. "Beyond his significant experience, Ravi is a fantastic cultural fit for QIC."

Sriskandarajah will relocate from Hong Kong to Brisbane before he starts in early September. He replaces QIC executive director Brian Delaney, who will retire at the end of 2020.
