Qantas Super investment manager departs

Qantas Super senior investment manager Allan Chen has left the organisation.

Chen joined the fund more than five years ago as an investment manager looking after growth assets, private markets, and alternatives. He was promoted to senior investment manager in late 2019.

Before joining Qantas Super, Chen was an associate with Goldman Sachs, looking after investment banking. He also spent more than five years with PWC as an accountant and financial modelling manager specialising in loans and banking.

In confirming Chen's departure, a spokesperson for Qantas Super said that Chen relocated to his native Adelaide with family.

Qantas Super is currently recruiting for a senior investment manager to replace Chen.
