Vanguard has confirmed to Industry Moves the appointment of James Noone as head of the firm's distribution efforts in Queensland.
He joins from PM Capital where he has spent the past two years as the firm's Brisbane-based sales director.
Noone has more than 20 years' experience in client relationship management roles across investments, advice and platforms. Prior to joining PM Capital, he was the head of sales and marketing at Financial Advice Matters (FAM) and also sat on the firm's investment committee. Before this, he held roles with Colonial First State, Aviva and TAL.
At Vanguard, he succeeds Ian Boater, who has moved into the role of active sales development manager for Vanguard's actively-managed funds in Australia.
