Pinnacle exec steps back

Pinnacle Investment Management executive director Adrian Whittingham has announced intention to step back from his role as an executive director with the organisation.

In a posting to the ASX, the organisation indicated that Whittingham would transition to a part-time role with the view to becoming a non-executive director next year.

Whittingham joined Pinnacle as an equity partner in 2008 and works with asset consultants, institutional investors, and retail distributors on behalf of the organisation's domestic and international investment managers.

Before joining Pinnacle, Whittingham was the head of retail sales for Schroder Investment Management and held product, research, and sales roles with Zurich.

Pinnacle MD Ian Macoun said that, while there would be changes, "[This is] not by any means the end of the wonderful partnership journey between Adrian and Pinnacle."

PNI chair Alan Watson said the organisation was delighted in the new arrangements, and that "shareholders will continue to have access to and benefit from, Adrian's talent and experience as he transitions to the next phase of his career."
