Pinnacle appoints new Head of Retail

Ramsin Jajoo has confirmed to Industry Moves his appointment as head of retail at Pinnacle Investment Management, effective February 2019.

In this role, reporting to managing director Ian Macoun, Jajoo will lead Pinnacle's retail distribution team, as well as the firm's digital transformation efforts, with a "focus on the direct investor channel, including SMSFs and unadvised direct investors".

Jajoo was previously at Morningstar, where he most recently served as head of asset management Solutions for North America, based in Chicago. Before that, he was Morningstar's head of asset management solutions for Australasia, based in Sydney.

At Pinnacle, he succeeds Adrian Whittingham who, as executive director, will "continue to be actively involved in retail distribution as well as [the] continued growth of current and new affiliates and global distribution," Jajoo said.
