Perpetual has announced the appointment of Sam Mosse to the firm's executive leadership team in the newly-created role of chief risk officer.
Mosse, who has 23 years' financial services experience, joins Perpetual from Janus Henderson where she most recently held the positions of head of risk & compliance, Pan Asia and interim global head of enterprise risk. Previously, she held risk and operations leadership positions with Macquarie Group - including head of deal management and head of compliance and operational risk with Macquarie Funds Group - as well as KPMG.
Perpetual managing director and chief executive officer, Rob Adams, said he was "delighted" with Mosse's appointment and added: "Sam will lead our strategies for continuing to ensure risk is embedded within strategic and day-to-day decision making. To ensure optimal client and business outcomes, I considered it essential to have this position at the executive table."
Mosse will be joined on Perpetual's executive leadership team by fellow new-recruit, Richard McCarthy, who has been promoted from general manager to group executive of Perpetual Corporate Trust.
