Pentalpha appoints Director of Investment Services

Boutique Australian equities firm, Pentalpha Investment Management (Pentalpha) has appointed Martin McComish as director of investment services, effective October 2018.

McComish joins Pentalpha founder Denis Donohue, who he first met when McComish was head of implemented equities at QIC and Donohue was head of equities at Suncorp.

They reconnected during McComish's time at Commonwealth Superannuation Corporation, where Solaris Investment Management, another boutique founded by Donohue, had been appointed prior to McComish's arrival.

Donohue established Pentalpha in 2015 as a solo start-up and was joined in 2016 by ex-Suncorp alumni, Ewan Macleod. McComish's appointment brings the team to five and further expansion is planned for 2019.
