Pendal BDM back after cancer treatment

Giovanni Rettura is returning to Pendal as a business development manager, the business has confirmed to Industry Moves.

Rettura, who joined Pendal more than 6 years ago, has been off work since May of 2019 following the diagnosis and treatment for Hodgkin's lymphoma. After undergoing chemotherapy, Rettura now has a clean bill of health.

Tim North-Ash is Pendal's head of wholesale, and he says they're "thrilled to welcome back Giovanni and couldn't be happier to see him make a full recovery.

"Gio is very well respected by colleagues and clients alike, but I can say from seeing first hand that his time off it was clear to see just how much we all missed him. I know plenty of his Friends, Colleagues and Clients have been anxious for his return and I'm so pleased to say that he'll be joining us back on deck at the end of January 2020.
