Partners Group appoints VP from GSFM

Former GSFM head of research and strategic accounts, Shaun Thomas, has joined Partners Group as vice president.

GSFM CEO Damien McIntyre told Industry Moves that, following the Hayne Royal Commission, industry consolidation caused the business to restructure their strategic accounts division. Thomas was offered another role in the business but declined. "Shaun is passionate about the strategic account space and declined our offer," said McIntyre. "We are very pleased (and unsurprised) that Shaun has resurfaced at Partners Group and wish him every success."

He says the accounts and responsibilities have been restructured internally.
