Parlevliet joins Prime Super board

$3.5 billion fund, Prime Super has confirmed to Industry Moves the appointment of Gerard Parlevliet as an independent board director, effective 22 June 2017.

Parlevliet was previously a senior executive of $10 billion fund, Commonwealth Bank Group Super, for more than 18 years, most recently as chief investment officer. Following seven years as CIO, he retired in April 2017.

Commenting on his appointment to the Prime Super board, chief executive officer, Lachlan Baird, said: "Gerard brings with him a wealth of knowledge on both investments and superannuation in general, and will be a great addition to the Board."

Parlevliet replaces long-standing director Trevor Dixon who, after 13 years, stepped down from the board in June 2017.
