Parametric research MD to step down

Parametric Portfolio Australia's managing director of research, Raewyn Williams, is set to leave the organisation later this year to pursue other opportunities.

Williams has been with Parametric for nearly seven years, joining in 2014 following several years with Russell Investments as director of after-tax investment strategies. She held similar roles with QIC, Barclays, and KPMG.

Eaton Vance head of Australia and New Zealand Chris Briant has announced that Williams will be replaced by Whitlam Zhang, who was Parametric's quantitative product manager. "While we are excited about Whitlam's promotion, we are sorry to see Raewyn leave and sincerely thank her for her enormous contribution to the business over the past seven years. We wish her all the very best for her future."

In comments to Industry Moves, Williams says that she's planning to take time to consider her options.
