Parametric appoints Product Manager from Willis Towers Watson

Global implementation manager, Parametric, has appointed Sheela Veerappan as a product manager, effective 11 December 2017.

With over 13 years' experience in financial services, Veerappan will be a key contact for Parametric's Australian clients and their stakeholders for investment, strategy and operational needs. According to Parametric, this includes managing the network of equity managers repositioning to participate in Parametric's Centralised Portfolio Management (CPM) equity solution.

Veerappan joins from Willis Towers Watson where she was responsible for qualitative and quantitative research on Australian equity, global equity and long/short managers.

Prior to this, Veerappan was a senior investment consultant at Morningstar Asia Singapore, and previously worked in asset consulting and investment management roles.

Commenting on her appointment, Parametric Australasia CEO, Chris Briant, said: "The appointment of Sheela Veerappan is particularly exciting given her wealth of experience both in Australia and overseas, including her experience in manager research."
