One Investment Group adds experience from Charter Hall

Former Charter Hall fund services manager Benjamin Townsend has joined funds management organisation One Investment Group.

Townsend left Charter Hall after more than eight years, saying "I am grateful to have had the opportunity to work with so many great people at Charter Hall and achieve some amazing things during that time. I have made some good friends and Charter Hall was a great place to work."

Before joining Charter Hall, Townsend spent five years as a business analyst and project manager with Perpetual Corporate Trust, including responsibility for the registry and loan servicing departments. He also spent time with State Street's registry department.

In his new role, Townsend will return to focusing on registry services. "I look forward to new opportunities and being part of the amazing team there," he said. "I am excited about this new chapter in my career."

One Investment Group presently supports more than 380 wholesale and retail funds with services including unit trust registry and mFund settlement service.
