Fund Executives Association Limited - Director
APPOINTMENT
FUND EXECUTIVES ASSOCIATION LIMITED
Date: August 2020
Position: Director

NGS CEO Laura Wright has joined the board of the Fund Executives Association Ltd (FEAL), a professional development organisation for super fund executives.

"Laura was approached to join the Board on the basis of her extensive experience and track record of more than three decades in the super space," said FEAL chair Jane Perry. "She was a founding Trustee Director of NGS Super and has held client services and operational roles at three different administrators working closely with a number of funds."

Wright was an administration manager for SuperPartners for more than eight years and has held senior roles with Australian Administration Services and Suncorp Advisors and Administrators.

"This depth of experience will see her make a valuable contribution to FEAL and to our professional development and education initiatives," said Perry.

Wright will replace Graeme Arnott.

It was also announced this week that Wright's NGS has begun merger negotiation with Australian Catholic Superannuation, which will create an organisation with more than $21 billion funds under management representing more than 210,000 members.

Wright will take on an as-yet unspecified role in the combined fund. ACS chief executive Greg Cantor is expected to take the chief executive spot.
