New Chief Technology & Delivery Officer at UniSuper

UniSuper has announced several changes to the fund's executive leadership team, including the appointment of Anna Leibel to the newly-created role of chief technology & delivery officer.

In this role, Leibel will bring together an end-to-end back office function incorporating technology, program management and fund operations, UniSuper said.

Leibel joined the $70 billion fund in May 2017 to lead its technology division. Before this, she was a director of technology consulting at PwC and previously spent over six years in various roles with Telstra.

In other changes, UniSuper's executive manager, marketing & product, Tim Anderson and executive manager, program management, Nick Drohan will be leaving the fund. The fund is also recruiting for the newly-created roles of chief commercial officer and chief operating officer.

The new structure, which the fund said is in response to "the abundance of change occurring within both the super and the higher education sectors", becomes effective during May 2019.
