SMSF software firm, Class, has announced the appointment of Andrew Russell as its new managing director and chief executive officer, effective May 2019.
Russell, who will fill the vacancy left by former Class CEO, Kevin Bungard, is currently the executive general manager - financial services at REA Group. Before this, he served as the GM and interim CEO of Mortgage Choice and was appointed by the Virgin Group to lead the Australian market entry for Virgin Money.
Commenting on his appointment at Class, the firm's chair, Matthew Quinn, said: "Andrew brings a wealth of knowledge and practical experience in financial services, technology and product innovation."
He added: "Andrew's priorities on commencement will be to improve our market leadership in the SMSF administration sector and broaden our scope to become a leading SaaS platform provider in the financial services space."
