Netwealth appoints independent director

Netwealth has announced the appointment of Sally Freeman as an independent director on the Netwealth board.

Freeman has 25 years' experience as a risk consulting and corporate governance executive, including as head of KPMG's national risk consulting practice. She also serves as an independent expert on the audit committee of Commonwealth Games Australia.

Freeman will join Netwealth's audit committee, compliance and risk management committee, remuneration committee and nomination committee, the firm said.
